Product Care

Daily Care

  • Dust Regularly: Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive cloths or materials that can scratch the surface.
  • Clean Spills Immediately: Wipe up spills promptly using a soft, dry cloth to prevent moisture from seeping into the veneer.
  • Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Use mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid using ammonia-based or chemical-heavy products.

Deep Cleaning

  • Use Specialised Products: Opt for wood-specific cleaners suitable for veneered surfaces. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Gentle Application: Apply the cleaner to a cloth rather than directly onto the furniture. Wipe gently to avoid saturating the veneer.
  • Polishing: Occasionally, use a high-quality furniture polish to enhance the shine and protect the surface.

Maintenance Tips

  • Protect from Heat and Sunlight: Avoid placing the furniture in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can cause fading and warping.
  • Use Coasters and Mats: Always use coasters under glasses and mats under hot dishes to prevent heat and moisture damage.
  • Avoid Heavy Objects: Do not place excessively heavy items on the furniture, as this can cause dents or damage the veneer.
  • Check for Damage: Regularly inspect the furniture for signs of peeling or lifting veneer and address promptly.

Handling and Moving

  • Lift, Don’t Drag: Always lift furniture when moving it to avoid stressing the joints or damaging the veneer.
  • Use Padding: When transporting, use protective padding to prevent scratches and dents.

Environmental Considerations

  • Control Humidity: Maintain a stable indoor humidity level to prevent the veneer from expanding or contracting.
  • Avoid Moisture: Do not place the furniture in damp or humid areas.
